FOUNDER & CHIEF PLATE SPINNER
The one who had the idea, runs the business, answers the emails, solves the problems and occasionally remembers to take a lunch break.
Our story
TAILORED TO BE ANYTHING BUT TYPICAL.

Based in beautiful Dorset, Seam Different was born from our family's journey and inspired by our neurodivergent daughter. As a family-run business, we believe life doesn't have to follow a conventional pattern, and neither should the clothes we wear.
With a background in mental health and a passion for creativity, I wanted to combine advocacy, humour, and meaningful design into something people could wear with pride. What began as a creative outlet soon became a mission: to create embroidered and printed clothing that celebrates individuality, encourages conversations, and helps people feel seen and understood.
Every design is created with purpose, blending comfort, quality, and personality. Whether it's a subtle stitched statement or a printed expression, each piece reflects our commitment to embracing differences and challenging stereotypes with positivity and authenticity.
At Seam Different, we're more than a clothing brand. We're a community that celebrates neurodiversity, self-expression, and the idea that being different is something to be proud of.
Behind the seams
A small family team, each with a very important part to play.

The one who had the idea, runs the business, answers the emails, solves the problems and occasionally remembers to take a lunch break.

A valued member of the team, a specialist in heavy lifting, DIY troubleshooting and being volunteered for jobs without prior consultation.

The reason this business exists in the first place. Brings endless creativity, unique perspectives and regular reminders that she's in charge.

Keeps a close eye on daily operations from the nearest lap, chair or inconvenient doorway. Firmly believes personal space is overrated.
